Barrel-Aged Sour Dark Ale - Part of Russian River's limited edition sour collection, this dark ale is aged in Cabernet Sauvignon barrels for 4 to 8 months and infused with black currants, imparting earthy berry flavors similar to red grapes and dark cherries. The result is a rich and complex beer with flavors of chocolate truffle, spice, currants, and a hint of tobacco and Cabernet. Meant to be sipped slowly to enjoy its full complexity.

A classic German-style pilsner but with a Russian River twist because we dry hop this beer with a small amount of European hops. It is straw in color and will often have a slight haze due to the fact that there is a small amount of yeast left in the beer.
